Anyone selling jewellery should understand how the price is calculated. For customers from Ochtrup, we show the calculation openly: material value is fineness multiplied by weight and the daily price, with everything else assessed on top.
Purity is usually hallmarked, most often 333, 585 or 750. If the stamp is missing, we test without damage and free of charge before you decide.
Stones, pearls and movements are excluded from metal weight. Non-gold components are deducted or assessed separately to keep the calculation correct.
