For damaged or old-fashioned jewellery, the precious metal is the main factor. For well-known brands such as Cartier, Bulgari and Tiffany, collector value may considerably exceed material value.
We assess gemstones separately. If you wish, we can remove and return them. You decide for each item.

For classic gold jewellery, the precious metal comes first: fineness × weight × today's gold price. The most common finenesses are 333, 585 and 750, identified by the hallmark. The value of White gold also depends on fineness, not colour.
Calculate material value in advance with our gold calculator. For silver jewellery such as Byzantine chains, it is worth checking the 925 silver calculator.
For well-known brands such as Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany and Van Cleef & Arpels, collector value may be considerably higher than pure gold value. We check hallmarks, signatures and workmanship and pay the higher of the two.
We assess diamonds and gemstones separately. If you wish, we include them in the valuation or remove and return them. You decide for each piece. Nothing is melted down without asking you.
Bring your jewellery without an appointment, sorted or in an entire jewellery box. We examine each item, determine fineness and weight, and explain the valuation transparently in front of you. Broken and single pieces are welcome too. We value the material, regardless of condition.
