Sell old gold in Gronau (Westf.). Full material value, even when broken.

Even a small bag can make the journey worthwhile. Assessment is free. Gronau (Westf.) lies in western Münsterland, directly on the border with Enschede, and is used to cross-border traffic in both directions. To reach us, however, you only cross the state boundary into neighbouring Lower Saxony. The B403 gets you to Nordhorn quickly, and selling works exactly the same for customers from Gronau as for everyone else.

Customers from Gronau and western Münsterland appreciate personal, discreet advice and immediate payment, without an appointment.

What matters is pure gold content, not the number of pieces. A gram of 750 gold is three-quarters fine gold; 333 is only one-third. Similar-sized rings can therefore differ greatly.

A single wedding ring often weighs four to six grams. A small tin regularly produces more value than its size suggests.

Old gold lots often include an envelope from the dentist. Dental alloys commonly contain platinum and palladium alongside gold, so they cannot be calculated using jewellery purity alone.

We determine the precious metal content separately and list it as its own item. Ceramic remnants, tooth material and root posts are not a problem; only the precious metal is included in the calculation.

Sometimes selling is not worthwhile: plated items, rolled gold and costume jewellery without precious metal. We say so rather than offering a token amount.

We also point out pieces worth more than their material, such as branded jewellery or distinctive craftsmanship. A sale you regret benefits nobody.

A jewellery tin rarely holds only gold. Sterling silver, plated items, costume jewellery and coins usually share the same unsorted box.

We sort the items into groups and weigh each separately, dividing gold by fineness and keeping silver apart. The receipt then lists every group with its weight and amount.
