Comfort fit
A comfort-fit interior is the gentle curve on the inside of a ring. The ring profile describes its cross-section.
A ring may look flat on the outside while being rounded inside. This inner curve is known as a comfort fit, or Bombierung in German. It is part of the profile and should be considered alongside width when trying on a ring.
The exact shape and depth of the curve differ by model. A profile name alone therefore does not fully describe how a ring will sit on your finger.
